Above anyone else the coaches and players should be hellbent, determined and focused on making the playoffs. It's not in any way irrational for a fan to have that expectation.

Eh, I’d rather they just focus on winning the next game. NFL is week to week.

No shit. But they also have to see themselves ending up in the playoffs. Nobody's conceding anything at this point. You get there a game at a time but "there " is the goal of making the playoffs.

The question was, is it irrational for fans to have any hope for making the playoffs. I say no.

Here's the thing. If the defense shows up like the Ben Gals game, we would have a much better record now. So this is less about Watson than Wood..

If the defense played even half like they did in the Bengals game we have a winning records right now. Jacoby has had his issues, but he part of the reason he was in that position was because the defense gave up huge plays and / or couldn’t stop anybody.
