Week 9 vs Broncos

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
They blew two timeouts, on two back-to-back plays, with under 5 minutes in the 4th, down by 5. That's what bad teams do. There's no defense for that. They blew the last one, because the clock was about to expire.

This team is laughable. Never prepared.
So all of that is an excuse baker should throw deep on 4th and 4 against a very strong CB?

When we pay OBJ as money as we’re paying him, yes that is exactly what you should do. Go down swinging where you can pin the loss on your key playmakers instead of not even giving them the opportunity.

Then everyone would be blasting Baker for making that throw if it’s incomplete. You don’t throw a low percentage throw on 4th&4 with the game on the line.

:chuckle: You realize what he actually did in that situation was make an equally low percentage throw to Landry that ended up incomplete instead?

The difference being Odell looked like he could make separation way easier than Landry could.

Honestly the Browns moved the ball the entire game. Baker was good about not taking sacks. Made a lot of good throws. And thats a good Defense.

Id say giving up 11 yards a carry to Philip Lindsay was the big problem.

There isn't a glaring hole in depth or talent on defense that should make this team the 29th (maybe 30th after this game) against the run. It's a failure on the DC's system and playcalling.

I agree Baker should be way down the list of current problems.

Kitchens and Wilks hires killed the season. I'm ready for both to be gone tomorrow.

I'm officially nervous about Baker. Not seeing the field. Disaster in the red zone. I'm not seeing glimpses of more than an average starter.

Ok Dorsey - you seen enough - your team is for shit and that's coaching. Oh

You can win Super bowls with an average QB.
