Weird Things I Noticed

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The NBA 2K ad is autoplaying sound. Just had it hit me twice on Chrome.

I am having an issue when ads reload, especially the ones that appear above and below the first posting. When either reloads, the space it occupies shrinks for a split second as if nothing is there (in effect going from 250px to 0px). This causes everything under it to jump up and down during the reload interval. It is distracting when reading or trying to post. This occurs on MacOS/iPadOS using Safari. It is not an issue when using Chrome (or not that I have noticed).

Not sure setting that space to a fixed height would resolve the matter or not. If needed, I can try to create a gif that shows what is happening.

Anyone else unable to change their avatar recently?

They appear indestructible at the moment
Yeah, not sure what is going on. Sometimes I see the new avatar in the little window after uploading but then it doesn't appear on the site...

Curious, what do you see as my avatar right now?

Browns player.

Let me check your profile for any oddities.

I've been playing w/ this. @Ben , I think you're having a cdn caching issue, at least on the Avatar level, not sure how far else it reaches.

The links being displayed all reference your CDN (cdn.realcavsfans.com), and loads the old Avatar's; even if a new one is uploaded. However, if I bypass the cdn and reference straight to the www subhost, I get the new and expected graphic.

For example, @Ohio 's Avatar:

There is nothing odd in his administrative profile. So you could be right.

But yeah, he isn't the only one with two avatars showing.

@Cratylus recently changed his avatar, however, some people see the new one and others his old one.

Yep, anyone who's mentioned it, there was no amount of flushing my local cache to fix the issue. I actually installed a brand new browser just to test it.

Maybe your admin panel links straight to the source and doesn't go through the CDN.
When you're in it and see his new Avatar, right click it and copy the image link to another tab. What's the link cdn or www?

Same as above. CDN ending in 7401.

Weird, I won't pretend to know exactly how the caching of it works, just that you can see going through the CDN is where the issue manifests. Something is afoot at the Circle K! :p

In the meantime, Gravatar works.

Haha, wow. That is funny.

I know my profile has had some weird glitches in the past. Think it has something to do with some user group(s) I'm in and the green name. @Ben or @Randolphkeys have solved a few issues with it before.
