Weird Things I Noticed

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Working fine for me. Have to contact hosting company in the morning.

There's a definite delay before showing new posts. I'm at home using obsolete U-Verse on PC.

We have contacted the hosting company.

Stay tuned.

If you have an issue other than the above, send a PM.

I was worried management got enough money and bolted FTX-style. I felt lost without all you screwball as my reading material.

Not sure what changed with the hosting company overnight, but page loads are faster today.
About 1/3 of page loads used to halt partway through loading, and remain stuck nowhere when switching between forums/pages.
Whatever someone did to correct this annoying issue, thank you.

I get that too...i think if you wait for a minute it will take you to the first new post....but if you notice the computer is thinking, something changed on our servers and it is slowed down now.
There is something about the number of posts ir time since your last visit to a thread that will trigger opening at beginning of the thread, or if you open a thread with no new posts same thing.. probably encouraging you to catch up on a thread before firing off ca redundant post..

Last couple days I've had to login in the morning when visiting RCF for the first time that day.

Before that I hadn't needed to login in a long time because I have the "stay logged in" option selected.

Thats more on your server or internet than on RCF

Completely unable to access RCF from mobile right now.

iOS, using Safari.

Access from a regular computer appears to be unaffected.

Are you maybe using some sort of ad blocking DNS?

I just noticed that on my phone, when on wifi, I get a 404. But when on cellular, RCF resolves.

Wifi is fine. Can access other sites. I assume it's my pi hole thats the difference but won't dig deeper until tonight at the earliest.

Nope.

Also tried with data instead of WiFi, same deal.

Maybe some weird caching thing is going on? I suppose I could try clearing cache and see if that helps.

Haven't tried with another browser (I only have Safari on my phone now) but might briefly reinstall Chrome to try it.
