Welcome Amari Cooper

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Biggest compliment to Cooper were the Cowboy fans on Twitter moaning last night about why they traded him for nothing.

Cooper will be fine. He’s too much of a pro and worker to not figure it out.

0:28 - Probably a TD if Jacoby hits him in stride
3:08- Draws 35 yard penalty. Doesn't show how Amari got in that position but iirc, he dusted CJ Henderson

1:05- draws a hold on Jaycee Horn under 3 minutes left. Could've been a big gain

The one hold was called a hold because the ref isnt allowed to call a pile driver. :chuckle:

Just set this to post every Monday for the next 10 weeks

One would think Cooper would be pissed about that, but he knows what happened to the Cowboys this weekend.

Make do with Brissett until they gain better chemistry or live the dream with Cooper Rush? Hmmm...

not much that hasn’t been said. The offense runs through Chunt. He is going to be a better receiver than Landry, but his numbers won’t show it

What a fantastic game. He was as good as you could ask for today
Stefanski and AVP deserve a ton of credit for the way we manufactured ways to get Amari open and get him the ball.

We identified our number one weapon in the passing game and schemed ways to get him involved instead of just lining him up against Sauce and never throwing his way.

I can't wait to see Amari and this offense with Watson under center.

Amari showed a lack of awareness and courage on the Jets onside kick.

Rewatch it.

The Jets player just made a play. He dove forward and swatted the ball into the field of play. Amari was in position to field it.

Shit happens.
I think Amari is great but to be honest, after watching that play a few times, I felt the same way @ssn774 did. I can't pretend to know exactly what his marching orders were but he did seem to shy away from contact a bit IIRC.

EDIT: another typo

I don't think Amari is great. I think he's been inconsistent and unreliable his entire career.

He's mega talented and a terrific route runner, but I haven't enjoyed his effort in Dallas..

I don't think that play was an example of Amari screwing up or shying away from contact.. but I'm also not going back and rewatching it right now, so I may be entirely wrong.

I haven't felt this good about a Browns receiver since Webster Slaughter.
The Slaughter/Langhorne duo was fearsome.

Kevin Johnson was pretty good for a couple seasons.
