Andre Drummond - LeBron's Robin

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
All I know, Bickerstaff needs to sit down with Drummond and have a long talk with him.

I agree 100%.

And while he’s at it, JB should have a long talk with Sexton also. Because the objective should not be to lead the team in scoring on the 2nd worst team in the league. The objective should be to win.

Drummond should probably set a screen...

According to the NBA, Drummond is 13th in the league in screen assists with 4.2 per game. Drummond is 2nd on the Cavs in screen assists to Thompson who averages 4.6 per game.

But all acrimony aside, you know what worked well in Detroit for years?...the pick-n-roll with Reggie Jackson. Can Sexton or Garland run a pick-n-roll?

This year's FA crop is weak right? next year is going to be an epic FA class right? potentially Drummond does have a lot of value as an expiring as his contract is basically a max contract. I just really hope a team will be desperate and capable of trading a 28m expiring at that point in time. I have serious doubts because of Koby's track record as he couldn't even trade 1/3 worth of expirings.

Koby has done pretty well with expirings when he has pulled the trigger. But turning all of our expirings into picks necessarily means we would have lost a lot of cap flexibility moving forward. Honestly, I think he's done pretty well with expirings overall.

I don't really have a problem with Drummond like Mr. Talc, he's reckless with the ball.

As,for Sexton until Garland stop being scared,Porter start being more consistent and Mr. Talc and Cedi show up in games more often I have no problem with Sexton being the leading scorer on this team.

For,all of Sexton's shortcomings in his short career nothing compares to the veterans on this team. I can deal with Porter's and Garland's issues since they're young but we got veterans that act like they never played basketball in their life. Then, want to bring up the shortcomings of the young players to the press when Lebron covered for theirs for four years.

I had to fixed what I meant to say at the beginning.

Yeah he is really reckless with the ball. I don't want our 60% free throw shooter slopping it up and trying to get the call. When he just throws up garbage hoping to get a call the way he is reffed, I just don't like it.

HE was touting his bbiq when he showed up, but I haven't seen it yet.

What's even worse,he dribbles the ball all the way to the three-point line and shoots it. He needs to work on his free-throw shooting badly.

Say,what you want about Tristan and his free-throw shooting. I'm more confident in him making both shots than Drummond.

3's too :chuckle:

Keep him. Elite rebounding and defense-oriented centers are always useful, even for a team like Houston or (healthy) GS. Sexton, Garland, and Porter are only going to get better. Can't wait to see what they're playing like by 23-24. We're likely moving on from Tristan and may trade Love. Can't shed all the big men.

Random obscure stats get tiring after a while for me usually, but this is a great "peak offseason" reddit post for both Drummond and Bickerstaff:

I like one of the first comments about foul management/no one fouling out.
