We got Drummond for less then our ask for Tristan Thompson was. Thompson demanding a trade didn't workout now he's riding the pine and will enter a cold market since most teams are capped out or near capped out. Maybe he likes Detroit?

If they are working on a deal before 3 they can keep going if they let the league office know they are working on a deal. We aren't done dealing until the team puts out there they are done for the day.

$27 million for a center in today's game is alot and the teams that needed one to find matching contracts to give uo were even hard for TT at $18 million.

A buyout is real risky for TT. No good teams with cap space next year. He might just be happy to wait it out and hope they can get a sign and trade together. If he doesn't have bird rights he is looking at MLE or less.
