Said he was working on for speed and strength. I like his verticality. He will be better stayting vertical than he will as a shot blocker, and I personally think it is more effective.

Fair enough, obviously he’s never gonna be Gobert who can do both but it would be nice if he could anchor the defense and would go a long long way to his long term viability on this team
Obviously his offense is really good, has a lot of tricks in the post, can pass and hit open mid range it’s really just going to come down to his defense imo

Yeah I agree.


To me shot blocking can be chaotic and often gives the ball back/sends it out of bounds. Verticality seems to keep the ball in play better and is more about positioning.

It's hard to tell because legs/butt/core strength matters more than a buff upper body.

I always feel every year the coaching staff forget about him after what he does so well but should not happen with B and JB. Now that we have Love back, would love to have Love and Zizic play together. Zizic did say he has been working in conditioning and strength. I hope to see more of him this season.
