Another thing he can do better than Thompson is pass out of the paint when he's surrounded. At least he will try to do it.

His screening is really good. Better than anyone but TT and might actually give people more space because he has a bigger body. There was a reason Exum just kept getting to the basket.

Yes I like him, but that's not how the Cavs view him or they would have picked up that cheap option.

There is something else going on when you are pretty sure we are going to trade at least 1 and maybe 2 of TT and Henson.

Is he is shape yet? He has had conditioning issues for 3 years

5-9 in 16 liked the little of Ante in a lineup with Love that we saw tonight. Like the rest of the team (minus Love) his first-half play was much better than his second half, but still overall a productive game for Ante. I do think he works best with a guard like Exum who can penetrate off his screens, rather than Knight who is more of a shooter

He looks good. He needs to play at least until Nance gets back. I though he deterred a lot at the rim tonight

After his screen offensive foul he seemed to avoid contact entirely. Wonder if he was told to not be aggressive. I completely prefer he screened hard and risk being called for an O foul.

Zizic could use with some encouragement instead of either getting yanked after making a mistake or playing well and
not seeing the floor again the rest of the game. Can the organization honestly say they have given him enough
minutes to know what kind of player he can be?

Watch how often Zizic gets good position in the post and whoever has the ball just ignores him. He and Osman thrive
when the ball and players move in some manner other than pick and roll and iso.

It's the kind of stuff that can make waves in the locker room. Sexton (whom I still like) gets away with lots of stupidity
and still gets his minutes.

Accountability ,properly training the young players, and developing a winning system that is adaptable to available personnel
seems largely absent from the Cavs.

Should have been fed in the post against Thon Maker. Zizic feasts against suck skinny post defenders. He didnt get the ball once.. its coaches fault too.

Wait until they get Windler back (if ever at this point). I sure hope someone knows how to look for him zipping around for easy buckets.

The thing I am missing from Windler is he is just a quick decision-maker. He whips the ball around or shoots with no thought. That's going to be refreshing with the 4 guys on our team who are unsure if they want to drive shoot or pass(more rare)

Zizic has been playing well. Gets roasted by fast guards, no surpised. Still seems like he is good at deterring people around the basket. He's big and he sets great crushing screens.

I think his defense is much better than last year.

He has taken Henson's place in the rotation. That is crazy after the run Henson had. Sick one day.

Did he get some minutes in the Denver victory? was largely focused on the football games. Was curious as to how he may have fared against Jokic and the altitude?

The guy can play, and is honestly a willing passer in/out of the post. Has pretty impressive vision and touch. Also love that he uses a series of fakes and pivots to create space for himself down there and reduce odds of getting blocked.
