Theoretically Ante Zizic

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I would just fucking love it if this kid would make TT fully expendable.

We'd need another 5 for that. But I would love if he was offensively capable enough and had some fight defensively to make him our starting center next to Love. I didn't see much about him as a shooter though, so I wonder if he has any range.

What a nice prospect. Especially for a team which lacks big men so badly.
Can totally see him pan out as an above-average back-up Center.
If he can make that mid-range shot consistently, maybe more. But we'll see.

He's under contract for four years at under two million per year and then a fifth year RFA year.

If we're able to get quality minutes out of him by year two or three, that'd be huge.

However, we all know it's at least 50% likely he's moved by the trade deadline.

I really hope he can stick with the Cavs. I like what I've saw through those YouTube videos, but can't fully determine through a highlight reel.

For a throw-in I like this guy. What I see in the 15 minutes of highlights where he's mostly throwing down dunks at the front of the rim...

He is a natural athlete, naturally strong, moves well, natural footwork, good hands. These are things that can't be taught, you either have them or you don't especially for a 7 footer. To put it another way, this guy has everything that someone like Tavares will never have as a big man. Quite a contrast.

Something that pops out on his highlights is that he seems to also have a very good feel for boxing out. He puts people on his hip and keeps them there, he uses his upper body well to clear out his personal space. Nowhere in any of the highlights did I see anyone pushing this guy off his spot.

Same thing goes for his ability to get his shots off in traffic, he clears out his personal space with his shoulders, upper body, and uses good footwork to keep himself in the clear when he's getting his shot up in traffic.

Those are all really good things. I would guess if Kevin Love could teach this guy a few tricks and basics about working in the paint he could be pretty decent on the glass with his natural size, strength and aptitude.

This guy projects to a ceiling of a rich man's Shaq and a floor of a poor man's Tim Hardaway. Somewhere in there.

He might be a gem.. never know with the europeans.
He is a fighter and a competitor thats for sure.
