Isaiah Hartenstein: wowing people in Vegas

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Markkanen shoots 48% from the field and 40% on 3's. I wouldn't mind having him. He could be very effective with the Cavs, who are the worst 3-point shooting team in the league. However, over the last three years with the Bulls his minutes have dropped from 32 to 30 to 26, so obviously the Bulls aren't thrilled with him.

He's a ball hog, attempting 10.2 shots in just under 26 minutes last year with 0.9 assists. If he gets the ball in his hands the shot is going up. I definitely would not trade anything for him but if he's a free agent I'd be interested, but only because the one thing he's pretty good at is what we need the most.

He takes 6 3pt attempts a game. That's something we need especially if he can hit 40% of them. It also skews his field percentage because so many of his attempts are from 3. His 2pt percentage is 58%. He would be a good change of pace to Allen and could prove additional potential lineups.

Is there any chance we can bring back this guy? Maybe he didn't like what we offered & prefers to go back overseas. Would 5 years, $40 million be a massive overpay? That's the highest I'd go.

Maybe that offer would be enticing for him.

That would be a massive overpay. Allen and Mobley are the future of the position........Cavs need to invest that money at other positions.

I would offer 3/9 for Hartenstein. But considering the team turned down giving him a QO worth around 2 Million I think it's safe to say he isn't coming back.

ISTG, if Kourtney Keller comes to the games, put me down for season tickets again.

Was he a problem in the locker room? He does have a place on the team as a bruiser.

Puts up decent numbers, has good passing but his feet are too slow to play meaningful minutes so I am not bothered if he isnt back

In the 50 minutes since you posted, Hartenstein has fouled out 1½ times.
3 Million per year for a productive player in limited minutes isn't a bad deal. It's also a easy contract to flip at some point.
