LBJ needs to clear cap space- Cavs oblige.
pretty easy- frankly I don’t have an issue with it.
LeBron's going for 7. I have no issue with the Cavs helping out. He's bigger than the Lakers (yep, I said it) and it's the least we could do.LBJ needs to clear cap space- Cavs oblige.

If I thought that this was to help the Lakers, I'd root against the Cavs moving forward.
I'm a Cavs fan, not a LeBron fan. And if the owner of the franchise is putting LBJ's interests ahead of the interests ff the team's...fuck him and the team he owns.
But I don't believe that, because I think the deal makes sense from the Cavs perspective regardless of the team with whom we made it.
a player that didnt play for us and we had no intention of signing as our back up centerThey got the ability to sign Gasol.
So what's the plan for center next year? Both Drummond and Mcgee are expiring, didnt draft a big man this year.

Overall think we are fairly good shape
several options
we are at about 116m in salaries with 42m of expiring . Possibly can trade the expirings for younger players or young veterans and picks as long as we don't take back bad salary layers. Drummond and the cavs come together on salary. Could use the savings if we let the expirings walk to sign a few players. In addition we likely have 2 first rounders next year ours likely lottery pick( think if we make playoffs we lose pick) and the Bucks likely late 1st round.
