I am surprised the offensive rating is not even higher. Seems like teams are having a harder time stopping our boys

Long list of confusing moves especially with Kenny A being available. Couldn't this have waited till the offseason?

Any tank commander will do. We still need players.

Atkinson will probably have his choice of jobs, Cavs would probably 4 or 5 on his list. All we need right now is a coach who's at least serviceable, can develop our young talent and get players to buy in. JBB seems to check all of those boxes, we could have done a lot worse imo.

What’s so special about Kenny A?
Besides him being a great development coach? He help the Nets which were in the absolute worst position in NBA with no stars and no draft capital thanks to Billy King, into a surprise playoff team. That team last year would have run though a brick wall for him. The only thing Bickerstaff will be running to is Starbucks to get Kevin Love's coffee. His the "players" coach these lazy entitiled bums want. I don't want a tank commander next year like others have suggested as we should get a building block in draft this year and try to build a winning culture post LBJ.

Nets/Atkinson year 1: 20-62
Nets Atkinson year 2: 28-54

JBB/Grizz year 1: 15-48 (22-60 overall)
JBB/Grizz year 2: 33-49

Grizz year one Conley missed all the games JBB coached. Grizz year two Gasol is traded at the deadline and only one player on the team plays more than 58 games. It was one of the most injured teams in nba history(28 players suited up for them) and yet they still improved by 11 games from the previous year

It’s also very interesting and perhaps revealing that you liken a basketball lifer like JBB as simply a coffee picker upper. Care to elaborate?

Time to let that tank mindset go. With the new lottery rules, it’s just not worth it to waste a season and develop guys the wrong way.
This team doesn’t have enough talent to win whether they are trying or not. Might as well win a few more games, teach some good habits to the young guys and hope for luck on lottery night.

The Cavs were in a tailspin before Bickerstaff took over They've gone 5-6 since he took over, and have played their best basketball in almost 2 years. He's somehow managed to get misfit parts to mesh, at least for 11 games. Plus, he's probably cheap. Good luck, JB!

I agree with you totally. I'm all about the tank but after awhile you end up being the Kings with a losing culture if you let it fester for too long.

I'm well aware who his father is and his was a pretty good coach. JBB is the "player friendly" coach these entitled scrubs wanted because they couldn't take 2 a days. You don't think if KL said Jump he not going to ask how high.

You didn’t address the comparison to Atkinson or make any case at all for what is so special about Atkinson.

The rest of your point seems to be nothing more than “get off my lawn” yearning for the days of 200 Bobby Knights coaching all NBA and NCAA D1 teams
