But moreso on topic here, had no issues with hims staying the same though Browns fans had most every Sunday this season during his Covid week off of "Run the damn ball!"
However perhaps my expectations of him being a dominant safety and 'Green Dot' were a touch too lofty in his first season learning a different D-coordinator's scheme.
His play wasn't awful like he who shall not be named, just had hoped he'd be around the ball a bit more. Whether that be making interceptions or in run fits.
The look of having him and JOK as LBs was innovative and interesting to go forward. Could well see something similar in years to come with Phillips playing Mike and acting as a true thumper out there while our athletes fly to the ball to team tackle.
