Goodbye Larry Nance Jr.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Despite all the whining in this thread he is still a better hooper than TT

We'll see. If Nance doesn't learn how to play a role within himself I don't see him starting and making major contributions for a championship team.

I think he has the potential to be better than TT. Unfortunately he and last year's staff decide to let him do whatever he wanted instead of actually working on skills that could expand his game.

Hopefully Nance took the off-season to become better and try to become more of a stretch 4.

Lol..are you out of loop? he is trying to become the next Lebron James. Prepare yourself.

He seems just like the same player or worse. Too bad. He was old when we got him and didn't really realize it because he was a 4 year college guy

Last year was a waste for his development and it might be too late for him to make the changes to his game to ever be useful to us.

I haven't seen anything that tells me that he actually worked on his 3 point shot over the off-season. He still passes up wide open shots and basically have one spot on the floor that he is willing to shot the 3 (just to the right of the top of the arc)

I forgot how much we paid this guy, but it's too much. Another feel good story gone bad.

With the salary cap increasing and his salary decreasing its really not terrible for a guy who should play 20 to 25 MPG.

Hes a situational player and he's paid like one. If they try to make him start or a high usage player it will look bad. But if used properly it's not as bad of a contract as it looks in today's NBA.

He needs to get off the 3 point line. If he works from 15 feet and in he could make something happen. I don't see the value in having him out at the 3 point line. Get him closer to the rim where he is best.

It’s just so frustrating watching him take the ball up and shoot 3s. He has skills that actually work in this league!! Why can’t he use those instead of trying to be Blake Griffin. The only players who should be initiating offense are Garland, Sexton, Cedi, and whichever backup PG we end up using. Nance needs to park himself in the paint and set screens and roll to the rim. He COULD be valuable if he just stuck to his strengths.

At Media Day, he said he took like 30,000 3 point attempts this summer.

He wants to be a perimeter player lol

Maybe we can convince the Pacers that he’s actually good and trade him for Sabonis lolol (I know there’s absolutely no chance, but a guy can dream)
