If they can actually get a Mitchell haul for Markkanen that would definitely be embarassing as hell for Altman. It would imply that Mitchell for Markkanen straight up would have been a fair trade LOL.

I doubt they get it though. As others above have said Markkanen is not perceived at that level.
 
It would be interesting to watch the chess match of picks offered between OKC and Ainge. If I was OKC, I would offer the '24 Clippers, '25 Sixers and '26 Thunder first rounders. The linchpin of the negotiations may be OKC's current control of the Jazz' '24 first rounder.

OKC would still have 11 first round picks in the next four drafts. Ainge knows from BOS having six first rounders between '19 and '20 how fickle their value can be the closer up to the actual drafts with limited roster spots and salary cap to work with.
