Welcome Mfiondu Kabengele

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It will be interesting to see if him or Hartenstein comes out ahead for
back-up center. Too bad we can't combine their skill into one player.

If MK can get his 3 point shooting % to mid 30+ level, he increases his
value .

They should do their best to keep Hartenstein in the rotation next season because his passing is really good. I think that Fi can break into the end of the rotation at 4 or 5 depending on need and opponent especially with all the injuries this team will surely have again.

I would like to see them give him 25mins a night in the final 3 games just to see what he can do, but I'm not overly high on him

Id like to see if he can play the 4. He seems like his feet are pretty good and he it looks like he can hit the 3 so far

He has the wingspan and reach by the looks of it to make up for any lateral limitations as a defender but tbh looks pretty mobile to the point I could even see him playing 3/d sf at times

If he could develop into a poor man's Ibaka (given that his current niche is being a defensive center who could knockdown open 3s) , that would be great... Everything is just a bonus for the kid, since the Cavs really didn't invest a draft pick nor traded for him.... And not being paid a lot

kid got confidence in him coz he shoots it. this is unlike lamar, brodric or dylan. if he can maintain that shooting percentage and not become dean wade (a player that got good percentages, but fell off after scouting reports), then he's a keeper.

I dreaming he'll become the next Tristan Thompson only with a 3-point shot. He's a load on the offensive glass. He gets up and down the floor quicker than TT, too.

The 4 could get crowded next year with Love, Nance, and Wade while at center we'll have Allen and Hartenstein. That's assuming we draft a guard or small forward. I don't know where Miffy fits but he's an interesting development project.

I'd like to see some consolidation trades. 2nds packaged with players to get something decent. Maybe Wade is attractive to someone as a backup.

I dunno though. Wade is cheap as hell and pretty versatile playing 3/4

He doesn't look terrible. Got 13 boards last night. I wonder if they felt comfortable letting Hartenstein go because of this guy

I still don’t see it. I know he has length, I know he supposedly has a 3 because he takes them a lot but whenever I watch he’s not good

drafted the very next pick after Windler, interesting he didnt even last the 2nd year of his rookie contract. His college stats per 36 are very impressive apart from the assists so i wonder why he only played 20mins a night in his 2nd year of college
Leonard Hamilton goes deep into his bench and always defers to players with experience. Patrick Williams & Scottie Barnes also didn’t start at FSU, so that’s not a big thing.

Kabengele could never get on the floor with a veteran Clippers squad that was in contention, so he couldn’t ever really show what he could do. Sometimes these young guys just need an opportunity. It looks like this was a nice pickup by our front office.
