I think the current logjam of players at 2/3 affects the way everyone talks about these positions right now. Treading carefully.

He played both in college. He and Braun were interchangeable.

Just like the 2 and 3 are meant to be, with the exception of the 6’8-6’9 freaks. But those freaks also play things like the point guard position (LeBron) and primary facilitator role. And there isn’t anyone guarding him effectively, just stay in front of him and dare him to settle for jumpers. Hope he’s off.

2 or 3 or whatever doesn’t matter too much on offense. What does matter is how we match up defensively, and that’s not a 2 or 3 question either - it’s how our five on the floor at any point in time defend their five. We’re just going to have to wait and find out as Ochai is a rookie and NBA defense is not easy.
