Koby has prioritized PGs who are true PGs - guys who distribute the ball and can get other players, especially the bigs, into the flow of the offense.

It explains why he drafted Garland when Sexton was already in the fold. It explains why he traded for Rubio. It kinda explains why he signed Pangos, who is a PG in that mold, except Pangos turned out to not be NBA quality.

And it explains why he’s pursuing Rondo now that Rubio is down for the count.
