Rajon HOT WATER Rondo

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I saw him in street clothes at the game last night

This just in:

For an NBA player, Rondo is kind of old.

Yeah, that's super weird how that happens to players when they get injured. One second, they're out there playing, then all out of the blue, they're not playing anymore! One of the mysteries of the game!

You are not very peaceful, but you are hilarious.

What do you think of the name Funnydog? Sarcasticdog? Ijustfuckedyourmomdog? Ok, that last one is just for me, lol

Numbers looked pretty good in limited action: probably all that you can expect from him. Hold the fort

Was pleased to see them designing a three point shot for him in the corner. Those are the key high percentage shots you want to see Rajon Rondo taking when the game is on the line.

Almost caught rim.

On that last one, when Wade passed it to him, I was like, “great pass” then I saw it was to Rondo and I yelled “Take the shot Dean”.

Still just 5 games, but with Rondo on the floor for his 104 MP the Cavs have a 92.8 DRtg as a team. Ridiculously low, dude still knows how to play defense/lead a defensive unit.

Something the Cavs were seriously lacking when Rubio went down (he was their best rotational player by DRtg with a 99.5 DRtg) was the defensive presence and frustration the activity of Rubio, Cedi, Stevens, etc who was out there with the 2nd group would cause. Rondo's presence has brought that back a bit.

The offense is still scuffling a bit with him, but starting to heat back up the last 2 games with him on the floor getting guys looks from their spots.

He regularly puts up 2 for 8 or 3 for 13 statlines, but he’s one of the only playmakers on the team so you live with it, because the team needs it so badly.

Sometimes I wonder what sort of player Rondo would have become if he wasn't injured earlier in his career the way he was. He still is one of the best minds at guard in the league at his age. You see reminders of what could have been in the Bucks game. Even so, love that he can find who he needs to find on the court and make people pay for leaving him alone on defense.
