Robin Lopez: Joining his twin

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It’s the minimum, so it doesn’t matter, but Lopez is pretty much cooked in terms of being a regular.

Actively bad rebounder and doesn’t really protect the rim at all.

He’s a novelty act with his Captain Hook stuff, which admittedly can be kind of fun, but you’re gonna be really lousy if he’s playing regular minutes.

He’s a spot minutes guy only at this point.

Great chemistry guy though.

You are probably right, but he's a big body for when we need a big body in there to push someone around. Sometimes, even in 2022, you still need that.

My big concern is that he doesn't look as much like Bruce Campbell as Scot Pollard did, but at least his hair has a passing resemblance for Varejao.

Additional Robin Lopez benefit: can teach Isaiah how to be the lesser talented, yet surprisingly good NBA brother.
It'd be great if RoLo taught him all he knows about fighting mascots – you know, who has a glass jaw, who has bad endurance – and then Isaiah continued the tradition when Lopez retired.

If RoLo gets some minutes... I would love to see that RoLo high post action with Lauri. He was feeding Lauri off from the high post in Chicago so well. Lopez sets great screens as well.

He needs minutes.

I think the fear is that a team like Toronto can run him off the court, but I agree he needs minutes, and I would like to see teams try.
