There are a lot of pages for Cedi but he’s no longer “popular”. We want his butt shipped out.

Why do we need to have Mobley play against someone taller in practice? Will he have a lot of matchups against taller players in games ? Who?

During Brad Daugherty’s rookie season many fans would wildly cheer for Dinner Bell Mel Turpin. It made no sense to me, but for some reason Mel was popular even though he was a bust. Saw his live at the Coliseum post up Manute Bol - his big butt pushed Bol backup like the vertical matchstick he was, then Mel turned, pumped, and got his shot blocked almost before it left his hands. Funniest thing I ever saw on a BB court.

I don’t see how there’s any realistic chance this guy can help us, but he costs nothing so it‘s not a big deal for me. I find the acquisition amusing.

It was more to showcase how popular a player can be a fan favorite. In Boston, he was a clearly a fan favorite on the floor. Plus he’s just a guy to put him in camp just like how we had Maker last year. Not guaranteed and see how he does. Otherwise Taco Tuesday.
