well he wasn't going to shoot .400+ from 3 all season for the Cavs. Still doesn't make bad plays by and large on either end. Hair game better than I previously gave him credit for, too. (Cavs really trounced everyone in this trade when waited for hair game)

Taurean Prince is a walking predictive stereotype. First the Cavs choose not to draft any long and athletic wings for about a decade. Then they fill that need with somebody else's failed developmental wing who never learned how to shoot.

Mr. Prince, I'd like you to meet Reggie Williams, Tyrone Hill, Eric Williams, Ira Newble, Earl Clark and so many others. All in all you're just another brick on the wall.

However, since the Cavs just never bother drafting guys with this physical profile, Prince is going to play important minutes. Cedi is already being fed waaaay too much court time.

Let's be real. Prince was a net-negative asset with his salary the Cavs had to take on to get Allen. Any production from him is a positive.

Even knowing what we know now, I'd still make that trade any day of the week to get Jarrett Allen . We have the cap space and Prince expires next year worst case.

I still can't believe the cost for Jarrett Allen, an absolute young stud, was so low.
