Welcome to Cleveland, David Bell - WR - Purdue

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
In Oakland, Pauly wanted older players coming out of school which I thought that same principle would apply here. Bell is one of those seasoned players with a high probability of success this fall
Except he's not old really.

Did not redshirt.

Not only played as a true freshman in the B1G, but had 80+ catches for 1,000+ yards as a true freshman. The jump from HS to college may not be as extreme as from college to the NFL, but it's still a tough transition physically and mentally for so many kids, so for him to be that impactful as a true freshman should be see as a big positive in his confidence, work ethic, preparation, etc.

Then declared for the draft after three seasons of college ball, the soonest any player can do it.

Bell is an early declare and currently just over 21 years old. There are only four receivers younger than him in the entire class, and Drake London is the only one who has yet to turn 21.

Perhaps google a player before talking about him.

Fair enough, I should've clarified it as number of plays from scrimmage.

I do see his rep/snap count experience combined with his production as a plus. He wasn’t a 1 season producer. Big time player and producer from the day he stepped on to campus.

I think he can contribute immediately, I thought the same about Robiskie though

I was a big Bell fan but the fact he’s not getting much burn as a top 100 pick isn’t promising.

I know it’s early so I won’t sound the alarm yet.

When Bell was drafted, the Browns expected a much smaller suspension for Watson. I'm willing to wager the packages featuring three receivers go up when Watson is back. Worth noting that the Browns put Bell's locker next to Watson's.

He isn't playing all that much. Under 30% of the snaps and he's only been targeted once.
We know he won't see the field in 2 WR sets. Any chance you have the information for how often he's on the field when we go 3 or more WR's?
