Welcome to Cleveland, Demetric Felton

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That's pretty cool then.

Looks like Berry got the guy with the best workout speed (Schwartz) and the best playing speed (Demetric)

I'll give him Bonus points because it sounds like both players of them have a decent catching radius.
In no world does Felton have the best playing speed.

He clocked a high time in senior bowl practices.

For reference, what I've heard among scouts is that Tamorrion Terry had the fastest GPS playing speed, and the fastest speed they've recorded so far, college or pros, at 24mph. The top speed in the NFL each year is usually around 23mph.

The GPS top speeds are fun for like a high score thing, but they don't really matter. They only come when someone has a long breakaway run and they can get up to that top speed.

What appeals to me more than the speed is Felton's versatility + separation. I'd think his burst speed would be more important than how fast he can get on the proverbial freeway. He's not going to be a wideout receiver.

I didn't watch the video, but I agree with the article.

I'm not sure Felton can catch 60 balls this year--that's a near impossible task with both Hunt and Chubb ahead of him. But eventually? He has as good a chance as anyone. If you watched the way he beat legit DB's at the Senior Bowl, you have no questions about his ability to play in the passing game.

Agreed. 60 catches this year seems way too high. I'd cut that in half at Ellis' odds. But based on tape I see no reason Felton can't get to that point eventually.

Forgot to mention, to those talking about his speed in the flat, I at least understand using the GPS speed if you're talking about using him in the return game. And it at least seems like we will use him and Schwartz in that role. If we keep DPJ out of that role, I'm happy.

Ellis said at some point in his career--not this year.

I'd take those odds easily, but I was also quite high on Felton coming out.

Are there things that Felton can do that Hunt cannot? It seems on the surface that the team would be better off playing Hunt than Felton if given the chance.

He might be a better receiver than Hunt some day. I expect we will see Felton returning kicks and playing WR more than we will see him lined up behind Mayfield to take a hand off.

Yes.

Demetric Felton, already, is a much better route runner than Kareem Hunt.

I'm not sure that counts for much, because Hunt is the far superior runner, pass blocker, and YAC threat, but Felton can shake DB's with route work like few RB's can.

He scratches that Duke Johnson itch for me.

You have an itch on your shitty dick? I would for sure get that checked out.

I still need to get it looked at? You assured me you could tell and that it tasted fine!

Lee, are you... are you not even a real doctor?

I told you, I only play one one during role play. What doctor wears an elmo furry suite to bed?
