Welcome to Cleveland, Demetric Felton

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That's sort of the joke in the second half of the post...

(still the best live album of all time)

I got the joke, but I was also trying to respond to the post. Raglan sleeves with heavy knits tend to sit stiff like that. David Byrne (and much of the 80s) was known for shoulder pads.

Here's how I came to this conclusion. Almost every top 10 live album list has At Fillmore East in the top 3. You'll see The Who Live at Leeds, James Brown and a few assorted others filling out those groupings. But consistently, At Fillmore East is on every list. It's the album that made the Allman Brothers a household name.

And to be quite honest, might as well be the commercial beginnings of the entire jamband genre of music.

Love you, but you can die on that hill alone. There's no one that agrees with you.
That's fine. I'll stand up here and fend off all comers.

"It is surely the finest live performance ever captured"

Hey, the Talking Heads subreddit agrees with me--I'm sure they're unbiased!
And I totally didn't just google "stop making sense greatest live album" in order to find people who would agree with me ;)

Is that the one with the, like 34 minute version of Whipping Post? That's my go-to "blow up the juke box" song, and it's actually enjoyable.

Oh, and Demetric Felton is going to be an exciting player who wears over-sized sweatshirts(I don't know much about him, I'm just covering my bases to stay on topic)
It's got the nearly 13 minute version of In Memory of Elizabeth Reed, which to me is the best cut on the album. Whipping Post, while great, does have a few minutes of somewhat pointless noodling in there. IMOER doesn't have a wasted note.

He's getting more comfortable. Wouldn't be surprised if he breaks one for a TD at some point this season.
Does anyone return punts for TDs anymore? I honestly can't remember the last time I saw one.

Felton has been impressive but he made one ugly play on punt coverage. On the punt the Bears bobbled, Felton was stand right in front of him, but had completely relaxed and given up on the play. When the returner botched it, Felton wasn't able to make a play on the loose ball, though it bounced right past him. I'm sure he heard from Prieffer about it.

Sorry but The Allman Brothers At Fillmore East is the best live album of all time. It was literally preserved in the Library of Congress.
Have been listening to it once a week lately. Agree.

Unbelievable cut. Never noticed that on Post, so I’ll probably pick it out now. Thanks a lot.

Live at Ludlow Garage is fun because it has a 3 year long version of Mountain Jam.

Only issue with him from yesterday was on the 3rd and 1 pass he caught in the flat. If he had just run forward he would have got the yard we needed, but he stopped moving and tried to make a guy miss instead, and got tackled for no gain. Hopefully just a rookie mistake and he'll learn from it.

I agree with you. On replay, it looked like Felton could've gotten the first if he kept running towards the sideline instead of trying to juke back upfield.

I also think that it was just a good play by the defender.

If the defender didn't stop and plant and match Felton, we're all oohing and aahing over Felton's agility and change of direction even more, talking about how easily he made that guy miss.

Yeah, I'll trust Felton to get a yard in that situation the vast majority of the time. Defender made a good play.

re: Felton and punt returns.

While his overall yardage total was great, some of that was the Bears. From my seats, it looked like the Bears punter constantly was outkicking the coverage. Felton was routinely fielding punts without a guy with in 10-20 yards of him.

I think most teams are better balanced with punt coverage and he won't have the same opportunities he had this game. But good on him for taking advantage of those opportunities.

I just remember 1 play where he caught the punt and put some dude on skates. I k is it was only 1 play and 1 guy, but I think he breaks one this year, especially if we can stop blocking in the back. Not sure how good the ST coaching is, but KS made Pfiefer the coach during that Pittsburgh game so I assume he knows what he is doing.
