Gay guys talk about schlongs like we talk about titties and ass. This is just a bball thread so @Sir'Dom Pointer astutely pointed out that this dude probably has a big ol hog.

If this was a women’s beach volleyball thread we could talk about how much respect those ladies have for each other’s beef hangers. @Deezus

I don't know.. I spend a ton of time with my brother, who's gay, and he mostly talks about politics, real estate and cooking.

Well, I can see these boards have pretty much gone to hell & a handbasket.

Gross!

Not comfortable with the direction this conversation is going. I’d kindly ask that we steer it back towards Okoro and his somewhere between absolutely terrible and pretty good season.

I like him looking for his shot more. Just has to get comfortable offensively. If they can keep up the 3pt shooting, he should have more room to slash.

If he can be a 34-35% shooter this year, it will help a ton in his dribble drive opportunities

Yeah, just needs to continue to work on that stroke and he’ll be able to go hard both ways on the court

This has to be a lie when you have @Lee, @The Oi and @Deezus on this site.

Agreed, when an estimated 12% of the world is gay, how is one man talking about another man's schlong weird? Heck i talk about other guys schlongs all the time, and i am not gay. I might not play or touch another man's schlong, but talking about it seems ok.

Okoro is stronger, quicker, faster and has a relentless motor... AND has a great feel for the game as well as a polished floor game that you rarely get from a 19 year old.

Stevens is taller and longer (6'6" w/ 7' WS), but slower and without the same motor, may have a good feel for the game (I haven't seen enough to judge). His length opens that little fade in the lane vs the guys who normally guard him.

There is no way you could put Stevens on John Wall or Olidipo for any player with a quick first step. Lamar's better comp on the team is probably Teurean Prince, way more of a SF/PF guy than a SG/SF guy. Not to bash him, I like how Lamar has played, but the athletic ability and motor separate Okoro from Stevens today, and in the future I'm expecting other aspects will as well.
Disagree about Stevens' motor. He played four years of college ball and wasn't drafted. He's on a two-way contract which means his pro career could end any day. He knows he has to make an impression and in a short time since his minutes may disappear once Love and Nance are back. He's going 100% every minute of every practice, not to mention the few minutes of playing time he gets.

If you think Okoro's athletic ability and motor separate him from Stevens then I'm wondering why Okoro's numbers are either the same or worse than Stevens across the board except for three-point shooting.

The numbers say Stevens is better finishing at the rim, better at mid-range shots (other posters mentioned that Okoro has no touch), better at the foul line, better at dishing out assists, and much better at rebounding. Like I said, I'm not sure an NBA scout who watched them both play for five games and only knew they were both rookies could pick out which was the top-five pick and which was an undrafted free agent.

They both look like late 1st round or early 2nd round picks to me, but if Okoro could improve his rebounding, foul shooting, ability to finish at the rim, and keep shooting the 3 like he has recently then he could eventually end up justifying his selection.

I couldn't find anything on the schlong comparison. That might be a good question for the next, "Hey, Chris" column.
