If the Pacers are successful in working out a sign & trade for Gordon Hayward (and he’s from Indiana), here’s a 3-way trade that I could see happening:

BOS: Andre Drummond & Jeremy Lamb
CLE: Myles Turner & TJ Leaf
IND: Gordon Hayward & future 2nd

I’d actually prefer to keep Drummond, but only if he’s willing to sign an agreement extension for a reasonable amount.

This is what I want so much, but I'm afraid Boston values Turner higher than Drummond (they should). Boston is the last place I want Myles to end up in.

Only way I could see Boston doing it would be for Love if they value him more than both, Myles and Andre.

They said Haliburton is now up to 187. Zack Lowe also said that Haliburton's people made it known he wanted to go to Sacramento and somehow swayed teams not to take him, which is the reason why he fell to 12.
So hes an idiot.

Sam Vecenie is more enthusiastic about Okoro's defense then you are.

He just does a lot of things well and does so while being an elite athlete. He’s 6-foot-6 with a 6-foot-10-ish wingspan and has great quickness, speed and leaping ability. He also is a fluid athlete despite a well-built 225-pound frame that allows him to play physically. More than anything though, it starts with his basketball IQ. His feel for the game is off the charts. The place where that is most noticeable is on defense. Okoro is terrific in all capacities. He is so smart and solid as an off-ball, team defender. He’s always in the right position rotationally. His closeouts are low with his arms up and it’s tough to drive him and get past him. As a weak-side defender, you’ll occasionally see him rotate over for a weak-side block. He’s great in scramble situations at causing havoc. He’s disruptive in exchanges and fights through screens. Not really a gambler, hence the low steal total, but don’t mistake that for defensive inaction. On the ball, he’s well-schooled in defensive slides and can drop his hips well. He is a menace in recovery, too, if he has to back into actions. And most importantly, he’s switchable 1 through 4 in the NBA and can take on tough wing assignments because of his strength.

Okoro may not be a great P&R defender at the moment but he has all the physical tools necessary to excel along with the most important quality - desire. He's strong, has great lateral movement, long arms, and good leaping ability. He may need a little coaching in how JBB wants to defend it, but Okoro has all the tools and also the desire and work ethic needed to excel.

I pointed to one thing he needs to work on. Most of what he says is pretty close to what I think or said, just in a slightly different over the top tone.

two things I dont agree with is how he says that he is just an elite athlete without faults. That is not true. Derrick Rose is an elite athlete, Westbrook, Oladipo, Lebron. Those guys just jump out of the screen. Okoro excels in some parts and in others not so much. But perhaps his overall package is great when you account for his strength and size.

I also don't think he is a menace in recovery like I said. He can recover well when he can still use his hip laterally, but when he has to back pedal or recover in a straight line, he is not great.

I LOVE Okoro's defense all-around...He has some issues he might be able to iron out, like sooo many players, but don't make my post seem like it was a post to put his defense down, at all. It's just misconstruing it entirely.

Born and raised in Wisconsin...forcing his way to Sacramento...

Wonder what he found so appealing about the org/town. Lack of expectations must be nice.

The new GM seems competent. I would be wary trying to fleece them the way people used to trade with Divac

Really nice fit next to Fox in the backcourt? After the Cavs and Hawks passed on him, Kings were the next team up with a rising star in the backcourt (other than the Suns, who just traded for CP3).

The Lakers are also reportedly interested in Tristan and they might have the home court advantage since Khloe Kardashian lives in LA.

good for TT. I’m happy we’re not getting over emotional and overpaying to keep him. The minutes just aren’t there to play Drummond tt nance and love. Especially when 3 of the 4 are better off playing the 5 and can’t really interchange together.

So hes an idiot.

I mean teams probably did question his judgement if the Kings were his destination of choice. Maybe he has a prior relationship with De'Aaron Fox or someone else on the Kings.

The good thing about him going to the Kings is they seem to purge their roster every two years. We might be able to pick him up in trade for some of our unwanted pieces in the not to distant future.

His recovery and fighting through screens are some of his strength. He is pretty darn good. Have you seen the tape of him covering Kira Lewis? He's pretty much top speed and Okoro did a good job on him.

Yeah, I mean does he have Lebron or Rose athleticism, maybe not, he is probably in the Iguadala tier, which is still great if not "elite". I think the wild thing about his "explosion" is that he can get up very well, he just didn't have to explode over guys. He finished around 70% at the rim not expending the energy to get above the rim. If he was getting blocked or not finishing over length, that would have more merit. Fact is he looks like KPJ in the fact he is going half speed a lot of the time because his brain works faster than college players. He is going to adjust to NBA speed better than some other rookies IMO.

Also, his change of speeds is obvious from his finishing. He routinely slows quickly just before the rim to get separation on his layups.

I don't really understand these posts about his altheticism. He dunks over guys pretty often, and he has a very quick second jump he uses for off rebounding.

I think it is a good fit for him. Don't like Walton, but there are good athletes on that team he can help score, and they can cover for some of his strength/athleticism shortcomings.

Even if he is 90/100 as an athlete, he's intelligent and works hard. He'll get a lot more out of his athleticism than someone like Andrew Wiggins gets out of his.
