I want Okoro in the starting lineup asap.

Sexton,Windler/KPJ, Okoro,Love,Drummond
Garland,Cedi,KPJ,Nance,Bell (assuming TT leaves)

We need to establish good defense in the starting lineup. Okoro's value will show more on a more balanced lineup as a starter.

Hopefully it’s not because of KD. I prefer smaller numbers, but that’s just me.

He wore it before, but I don't know why he chose it before.

Wanted to say one thing that Chris Fedor brought up in his post draft podcast. He said that the thing the guys he has recently drafted have in common is team USA affiliation. Okoro didn't make the team one year, was disappointed and really wanted it so he worked hard and got the place above another guy a year younger the next year, who was seen as a better prospect. The name escapes me at the moment.

Koby cut his teeth with team USA and some of his contacts he really respects their opinion there apparently. They had high praise for both Sexton and Okoro and that is one reason he felt comfortable taking him. Coaches from team USA said Okoro was instrumental in their success.

The other thing he said was a big deal for Koby was that Auburn had a team made of guys who had gone to the Elite 8, and yet when Okoro came on board, Pearl said, "This is our leader" and those guys were willing to follow him even though most of them were 3 years older and he was just coming in.

Going to probably take a lot longer to earn that respect in the NBA, but if he can do that for our team. That will be big, and we need his influence to get the guys to buy into team winning like that. I thought they were closer to that when Bickerstaff took over, and in that way I think Bickerstaff and Okoro are totally on the same page.

Boston is up to something as this is the second big they’ve traded this week and they drafted only a SF & PG. They also dealt Vincent Poirer to OKC. Both trades were salary dumps for future draft picks.

Has to be Turner :(

Who do you think will be the face on the team? Many people still believe it's Love but I don't see it at all.

I enjoy watching the press conference...

Me too. Insane how confident this guy is. Zero overcompensation, no justifications, just super direct. Plus I liked when they asked about people criticizing his shot. It wasnt the usual 'im confident in my ability' 'its underrated' 'i feel like I can' that's so routine nowadays with the fake alpha players. He was just like 'i need to get to the gym and work day and night'. Lmao. He seems to know his strengths and limitations very well.

I've long had a sour taste when the LBJs and Oladipos and Durants act and speak all tough, afraid to show any insecurity or weakness. Real confidence? - it's this guy. He just seems so comfortable with who he is.

Capela for Hayward.
I think Hayward prefers Indiana as that’s where he is from. I think Atlanta goes after someone younger, like Bogdanovic.

Hayward for Turner & Lamb would work. Cavs may or may not be involved. It depends on what the Celts are looking for.

Lots of rumors about Hawks liking Hayward. They just drafted OO from USC who plays the same role Capela does who never played for ATL after the trade last season. And Celtics apparently tried hard for Capela themselves. It doesn't matter what Hayward wants. His options are find a destination that works for Boston or the Knicks or Hawks (Who don't even have to sign and trade for him unless They want another FA as well)
