Aside from Andrew Wiggins, I don't think there was another prospect I wanted more.

Yeah I studied him religiously that whole year. I was so excited that they were trying to trade up to 2 to get him (reportedly), and devastated when they drafted Waiters instead of just doing what they needed to do to get Beal, even if it meant overpaying.

It all worked out in the end obviously, but man Kyrie/Beal/LeBron would have been a lot of fun.

I was devastated when Beal didn't drop to us at #4, but Anthony Davis was far and away my dream pick in that draft. In the Wiggins draft, I wanted Embiid.

The Cavaliers were 1 loss away from getting Anthony Davis that year...

I wanted Beal if the Cavs didnt get Anthony Davis.

Here is who I was on record as saying ai wanted the most pre-draft in each of the drafts since that year:

2013: Giannis
2014: Jokic
2015: Karl Anthony Towns
2016: Jaylen Brown
2017: Donovan Mitchell
2018: Doncic
2019: Zion
2020: LaMelo

I’d have made out very well with these picks.

This idiot wanted Mitchell over Tatum in 2017

And it's way to early to judge a rookie, especially when historically speaking rookies usually have a negative impact their first year.
