Correct. I get that he likes being called Wu, but JOKer is marketable. He went to Notre Dame, he's a smart enough dude.

People talk about the huge turnover on defense and it’s true, tons of new guys and will be a large number of new starts.

But it’s not just a few good guys and some Jags. It’s a full slate of DUDES.

Not too mention some more depth and developmental talent like Takk, Jackson, Walker, Phillips, Billings, possibly Marvin Wilson, and maybe Greedy.

I know it might take time to gel but the dynamic, athletic, intelligent, versatile talent is there big time.

Dont forget we might have 3 rookies starting or seeing significant minutes so it will take a bit of time to gel. The tallent will be much improved and i think we should be one of the favorites by the end of the year to win it all.

I assume we'll get more of a preseason this year for the guys to work together than we got last year with most of these teams set to have basically everyone vaccinated by the time July/August rolls around, so that should certainly help.

It will help, but preseason is one less game now because of the 17 game season, and its not the same as the season, and rookies will be rookies and i could see 2 rookies starting in the secondary and a rookie linebacker, so who knows how that goes

To me, it's not so much about the preseason games themselves as it is about the actual practice time together during the preseason that the team just largely wasn't getting last year due to covid. That should change this year.

If you told me before the draft that we came away with JOK and Ifeatu Melifonwu, I'd be very happy with that.

JOK and Newsome is a wet fucking dream. I'm counting down the days until that first game... this is surreal.
