Ah, gotcha. Yeah, I took it before the third section was added.. I think it was writing?

Still bitter about the SAT... ACT for life.
 
Even when Alabama was beating that Golden Domer ass, you can tell how talented JOK really is.

He was able to break down in the open field and go after the Bama WR'ers. He was still able to be used as a slot CB in those games.

It's clear as day to me that he has NFL athleticism to cover slot guys in the NFL. Not to mention TEs and other positions. And goddamn is he a nasty blitzer.

JOK is just what the doctor ordered. He won't pick off passes that much, so that value isn't great, but he tackles well, has good instincts and has no problems breaking up passes on slot corners.

I can see why people would be worried if he was a full time linebacker, but for what the Browns want, I think he's going to be a superstar.

My daughter just took them, they are back to 1600. Rescaled from my days, scores are higher these days than in 1990 when i took them, but 1300 is a very good score, get you into most schools outside of ivy league or a stanford.

Generating turnovers and deflections are both incredibly noisy stats. I’m not worried about that for JOK whatsoever. I think you’re dead-on accurate. He’s the perfect modern linebacker given his positional versatility and length.

My guess is that Chad Henne would have had a tougher time running for 13 yards with JOK in the game.

I’m not sure he beats out Sione to start the season, but maybe. Depends on what he’s got. Remember he is going to have to unseat experienced NFL linebackers now. That may take some time. Situational player at first is my best guess. But we will see at camp.

Get in the playbook for the next 3 months young fellas. See ya in August.

Well I guess I am penciling Taki, Walker, Phillips as the starters. Yes in nickel or dime I suppose maybe you want Phillips and/or JOK in. Lots of options and hard to know what the Browns will want to do. Maybe traditional Mike, Will, Sam is out. But my point is, he’s got to beat out an NFL LB to start.

There is no way JOK does not start week 1. Takitaki is a SAM. They will not compete for starts anymore than John Johnson and Newsome will be. Phillips is very similar.

The two starting linebackers will be Walker and JOK. In base, they'll bring in Phillips or Takitaki.
 
Semi serious question..

What is the correct way to say JOK? Is it:
-Jock
-Joke
-Or literally spelling out the letters J O K

I’ve heard it all over the map this last week and didn’t know if there was a consensus.
 
I thought I read somewhere that Walker is not starter quality, but a helluva emotional leader, as proven by the farewell messages he received from Colts mates. My feeling was he would only play in the case of injuries....I'll try to find where I read it...

Edit: May be mistaken, as he has been a proven Starter in Indy (48 over the last 4 years).

Maybe, but penciling in a second round pick week 1 is not a sure thing. It will be matchup and situational dependent. Maybe he can’t pick up the playbook quickly enough and they roll with Taki. Impossible to say today.
