If losing him gets us a third (unlikely) or a fourth (much more likely) and Callaway can at least be a feasible third option then losing him will not be a huge deal. The problem is, if Callaway remains the person he is now, then we have a huge hole on offense. I actually think it played a role in the Taylor deal.Yeah, I'm not completely down on Callaway. He obviously has talent, and can be a weapon. But his lack of work ethic, character, and frankly, he comes off pretty immature. I don't know if he'll ever be someone we can really rely on.
No debate. Higgins is the better one. I do think we risk losing him. I expect him to just kill it this season and get a nice contract.
We won't be able to afford to keep him.
