Welcome Todd Haley - Browns OC

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sean Ryan would be a quality hire, if he actually has some say in the game plan.

They should request permission to speak with John DeFillipo again as well. Looking back, he may be the best OC this team has ever had given the talent he was working with.

Not gonna lie. This guy has that look of no name coordinator dude that gets promoted to HC and becomes a name right?

Lame. Texans QBs have sucked for years. Hate hiring guys who just so happened to coach a good qb for a year.

You want to penalize a QB coach for having to work with Tom Savage and Brock Osweiler? If this guy had turned those turds in to gold, he wouldn't be an OC / QB coach, he'd currently be the highest paid head coach in the league.

I'm more interested if there is a parallel here, in terms of who we like in this draft. If they are mentioning Watson as a selling point, does that mean we like Mayfield or Jackson as the developmental guy? And then let's say Smith (another mobile signal caller)? Or is it just more flavor of the month thing? As he coached more traditional QB's like Eli....

I like Dorsey's approach here though......keep Hue around as a head man but undercut his offensive responsibilities.

No way Hue is the head man going forward, and if he is, it won't last more than 4 games. He just talked shit about the players, and if he hadn't already lost them, he did now. I think we are being smart about it and lining up our coach before we fire the current one. I don't think being coach-less is a good look at all.

IF he turned those guys into gold? What? What kind of argument is that? You could make that argument for every position coach ever. Those guys were absolute crap. He’s done nothing special.

Okay, he's been there as QB coach for one year. So putting the blame on him for QBs when he was the WR coach in 2016 is dumb.

Developing Will Fuller, Odell Beckham, DeShaun Watson, Victor Cruz gets you noticed.

Will he be another successful guy to come to Cleveland and get lost in a sea of shit? Perhaps, look around the league and it's pretty evident that some coaches/assistants haven't been the problem throughout the years.

Once John Defilippo gets a head coaching gig and tears up, he'll be another example.
