Four years ago today. June 19, 2016. Also known as the greatest day in our Cavs-fan lives.

LeBron can leave northeast Ohio and get "L.A." tattooed on his forehead. Kyrie can babble on about the earth being flat. Love can continue to collect $30 million a year on a last-place team. J.R. can ... well, go back to doing J.R. things.

None of it matters. They all get lifetime passes from me for what they did on that wonderful day four years ago.

I think the one of those plays that surprised me the most was Love moving his feet like that to shut down Curry twice. I think it shocked Curry as well, and the surprise that it was Kevin Love defending like that flustered him.

Not saying it was the best or most important of those three plays -- just that I'd seen LBJ do chasedowns, and seen Kyrie hit big shots. I just never saw Love move like that before or since.

Draymond hitting all those threes in the first half for nothing really made game 7 special

I was watching the replay last night he was hitting everything it was ridiculous....thank god JR saved our ass at the beginning
of the third quarter.
I was 10 years old in 1970 and have been a Cavs, Indians, Browns fan for 50 years plus,,,that 2016 cavs team was the pinnacle for me...made it worth putting up with all the crap for all those years.

I think he is bit underrated on the perimeter as a defender. He can move his feet fine, which is why he can take charges well. It is his Toreador defense around the rim that his biggest problem. In other words, I think he is more willing to move his feet than take a beating in the post defensively.

The reason I think this is that when they played their 3 big lineup this year and had success with it, Love was essentially playing the 3 and Larry the 4. I think they switched that up some with them swapping roles on D, but Love was still spending time guarding on the perimeter and they were both very good offensively and defensively.

Anyway. Unbelievable they won this. It gets better with age. I remember just being shocked the time ran out. I think I thought there was a minute left when there was really like 10 sec.

Kevin Durant truly ruined what could have been the best rivalry in modern sports. I hate him more & more when we talk about 2016.

I don't hate Kevin Durant.

But I pity the fool.

Every time he shaves he sees a bitch staring back at him.

That's no way to go through life son.

Durant's the kind of guy that would show up at the playground with one other ringer and eight bums and insist he's on the same team as the other ringer.

Durant is like the car Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder stole in "Silver Streak."

Durant once refused to have an Easy button installed because pressing it was too much for him and he wanted a better solution (this was why Amazon invented Echo).

I hope this post doesn't get out into the general public because I'll be attacked by thirty posters -- all Durant burner accounts.

While,I understand your point about KD,the person that should be blamed is Draymond...He was the one that called KD,right after losing to the Cavs in the parking lot.

Matter of fact,KD was thinking about staying in Oklahoma until Draymond, Steph and Klay visited him that summer.

Again,I get your point but the Warriors are the ones that recruited KD because they knew they wasn't beating the Cavs,if they met that third time.
