We're going to Disney World -- NBA plans to reopen for an abbreviated play-in - playoffs season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Couldn't have been more obvious. We weren't winning shit the next year anyways. Should have picked him

Yeah rebuilding in the NBA is all about getting a GREAT player. You cannot compete until you have one or two. Sexton could be a nice piece but will never be that guy, MPJ could be.

Swinging for the fences regardless of the risk isn't the way to go either. MPJ had serious health concerns that chased away a lot of teams.

Right.

MPJ has had an impressive streak of games in the bubble, but let's hold the horses on the idea that we definitely should have taken him over Sexton. MPJ missed his entire rookie year and has scored in double digits 19 times out of 52 games. Yes, he's played limited minutes, but that is a direct result of his injury and injury concerns. If he can do what he's doing (or even produce at 2/3 the level he has been) over the last 3 games for an entire season (or multiple seasons), then he's obviously the guy we should have taken.

Until then, give me the guy (Sexton) who has played in every single game possible at over 30mpg, shown consistent improvement, and looks to be an elite bulk scorer in the league.
