We're going to Disney World -- NBA plans to reopen for an abbreviated play-in - playoffs season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'll take watching Luka be crafty as fuck and bust out that old man at the Y game over Harden's shitshow of throwing himself into people any day of the week.

Cannot stand watching Harden's game. It looks and feels so manufactured.
I think they both play a very crafty “old man” type game.

Neither is particularly aesthetically pleasing. I just don’t understand the vitriol toward Harden.

I'm not a fan of watching someone average half as many free throws as he does shots. When those FTAs dry up in the playoffs, he's left looking rather pedestrian.

Being fair, I didn't like Wade for the same reasons. Always felt like he just threw himself into people looking for the foul rather than actually looking for the shot.

That's Luka and Giannis, too. A bunch of other guys in the same range. I can't believe Jimmy Butler's FTr has been so downright ridiculous this year.

I also wouldn't call Harden's playoff performances pedestrian, but that's just semantics.

32-7-7 last year on .504 eFG% and .567 TS% is an excellent line in my opinion.

That's a time where basic stats feel like they tell the story more than advanced stats. I honestly didn't watch the playoffs last year, so didn't realize he actually shot above 30% from behind the arc. I'm used to the guy who goes from shooting 45%/36% to 41%/sub30% in the playoffs.

FG% is pretty misleading since he takes so many 3's. His 2P% is typically right around 50% in the playoffs, down a tick or two from the regular season, which should be expected.

To be fair, I think most of the NBA is tough to watch, so I don't think Harden stands out much in that regard :chuckle:

A guy shooting 10 3s a game probably shouldn't be going to the line 12 times a game. So when I see him still shooting 10 3s a game, but suddenly only getting to go to the line 6-8 times, I laugh when his percentages drop.

I've explained why I don't like James Harden, does there really have to be a lecture about stats every fucking time someone mentions they don't like Harden?

You responded to me, not the other way around. Nobody coerced you into this back and forth. I never said anybody had to like him.

The hyperbolic "this guy is cheating and ruining the game" rhetoric is what I laugh at.

And you felt the need to reply to someone that didn't like seeing his game. How dare he have the audacity to post it.

Yes, and I'm fine having a conversation about it.

He said "when will this nightmare end"

I found that to be a bit over the top and worth mocking :chuckle:

Jokic dominated late and then took completely over in OT ending with a 30 point triple-double, but MPJ just had perhaps one of the smoothest 37 point games I've ever seen.

12/16 from the floor
9/9 at the line
37 points

MPJ damn.
NBA is going to be stacked with good teams going forward. The future of the West looks scary: Dallas with Luka, NO with Zion, Denver with Joker and now good young players, Memphis with Ja and JJ

JJJ going down for the year is disappointing tho.

reminder we could have had MPJ

although Sexton isn't a bust

LOL OK I sentence you to watching hours of James Harden play basketball without looking away away from the screen, I'll watch the same amount of Doncic, we'll see who is living the nightmare then

Couldn't have been more obvious. We weren't winning shit the next year anyways. Should have picked him
