What Do You Do For Work?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Utilities, but probably going back to school for software developer.

This is the way to go!

No shortage of jobs there.

I worked at Facebook with the HR department and they are always short of skilled engineers.

If I can help with your school search please let me know!

Fraud Analyst for a fortune 100 company. Political science degree, weird that I ended up here but digging it.

How much fraud is there?

What is your degree in?

Psychology?

Interested in becoming a profiler?

Majored in Criminology & Criminal Justice and took a minor in International Studies with a specialization in Security & Intelligence (if I would've known about this minor sooner, I probably would've flipped my major and minor in hindsight).

I've never really thought about being a profiler, but I just looked into it a bit, and it does sound like something that could be up my alley. I really like piecing things together, but I've never really had a ton of experience in putting together suspect/victim psychological profiles. I really never took classes in anything like that at OSU, but I've always thought of myself as a pretty good judge of character, so that might be something to consider down the line.

Sales director for a security startup. I primarily focus on retail & online distribution.

That is cool!

Profiler would be cool. Good to keep it in mind.

And if you're still interested in like intelligence or homeland type security, a few schools have online programs, like the Bush School of Government at Texas A&M, in National Security Studies, Emergency Management and Homeland Security.

One of my fraternity brothers did the National Security Masters and now works with one of the intelligence agencies.

When he was in school there, Bush Sr. was still dropping in from time to time. He actually briefed Bush for his masters presentation in the replica situation room at the Bush Presidential Library there.

I am a motivational speaker. I believe in positive mental attitude or “PMA.” Times have been tough lately so I’ve had to live off a steady diet of government cheese and even slept in my van down by the river.

Thank you! But I’m probably just going to go to Cleveland State since I do have a good paying job as is. Unless you think that isn’t the route to go.

Auto claims.

Ridiculous how much money people can make in this industry without a degree. Without one, you sort of stop at a claims handler level, with one, oooweee. There are people making 6 figures just managing groups of 6. At a former carrier, there were lifers who, after five years, were basically unfireable unless they stole. And, it's really hard to steal from an insurance company.

Technical consulting in RFID and printed electronics..

Special Education teacher
Football coach - HC at MS level and QB coach at small local college

Just started online program to become a Certified Personal Trainer. Plan on doing that in evening and in summer to keep me busy.

Let’s just say that I have plenty of job security when it comes to fraud. Family members, foreign actors, etc.

Pro-tip: Use annoyingly secure passwords. Always worth it.

Two to three random word phrases with numbers should be safe, right?

Yeah probably, maybe throw in some special characters. The biggest thing is to NOT have the same passwords for all of your financial accounts. If one of your credentials gets harvested and sold on the dark web, all of your accounts will get hit.

I deliver catering aND make the rest of my income through gig economy. It's good for 60k and I write down my income enough to where I save myself 700$ a month in student loans. It works for my temperament . No boss, no cubicle.

But I'm selling myself short. I'm terrified of working a real job, it's been so long. And I didn't do it well whrn I did it. But I was also a kid the last time I tried.
