You can select more than one.

Food for throught: "One of the lingering questions of the season — and there are many — is why Stefanski continued to insist Mayfield was the best option to start even when he was clearly injured and clearly struggling?"

Stefanski with an evil genius sabotage of Baker may one day go down as the most important ploy in the history of the organization.

Snakebit season. So much went wrong starting with Baker’s initial injury and the Chargers game. Difficult IMHO to decide exactly what to do in the offseason as we still have a lot of talent but also some severe problems, and all of the adverse events make evaluation tough.

A QB that was unable to execute a gameplan that wasn't great.

Unfortunately, with the current QB, the Browns cannot win unless the gameplan is good to great.

Yeah but c’mon - to see a rookie right tackle continue to get destroyed and to not help him whatsoever in addition to keeping your most explosive offensive weapon on the bench for multiple series ?

There’s no way that’s a normal game plan for the QB to be put in a position to succeed…

That was a set-up

Conspiracy theory alert

Stefanski and Berry knew this game was a Manning game. They know Jimmy thinks the Mannings are football gods. They wanted the Mannings to say how shitty Baker looked in efforts to get Jimmy to sign off on ridding them of Baker.

I sat in the freezing cold, drank overpriced beer, and watched shit football surrounded by Yinzers sucking off their rapist QB the entire night.

Oh, you mean what happened last night with Baker getting sacked a billion times? Dude just sucks.

It was the same game plan versus Arizona, and not a single person on the board said it was a set-up.

It'll actually go down as a passive aggressive swipe by a coach who doesn't have the balls to control his headstrong players. Stefanski should have grown a pair and sat Baker earlier this year when it was clear the injuries were affecting him. Kevin needed to be the boss and he wasn't, he let Baker dictate if he played. On the flip side, he goaded a 2nd year LT to keep playing on 1 leg; surprise, Wills didn't progress a fucking lick. OBJ felt rushed back, too. Stefanski bought too much of his own- and this teams- hype. He should have been the leader he is supposed to be, benched Baker's ass until he got surgery, and dealt with having the backup QB he wanted run the show. But he couldn't, because that would have compromised the season' and the teams 'potential'. And it would have required standing up to a cocky dingus like Baker. Instead, he kept running an overwhelmed QB out there, lost the season anyway, potentially lost the team (if the fans could see it, so could they), saw division be seeded on offense and between the offense and defense.... I won't say he did nothing, but what he did clearly didn't right the ship. He has work to do in the offseason. And I think the bullshit that was pulled yesterday says alot about Stefanski the leader, and what it says isn't good imo.

But last night you said the following if the Browns game was to have counted for the division…
You would have saw an entirely different game called .

So if it wasn’t a setup then there’s just complete incompetence running wild…

Cause indeed if that’s the case then there’s more problems than meets the eye cause that Cardinals game they got completely waxed…

- Mayfield is playing injured but he's still the best chance we have at the position to win.

- Mayfield holds the ball too long because 1. He's slow going through progressions (always has been a first read quarterback), and 2. He's afraid to throw picks so he can't pull the trigger easily on a tight window throw.

- Hudson needed tight end help and for whatever reason Stefanski refused to give it to him. Inexplicable IMO.

- Chubb has been playing injured for a while now (my opinion, but based on noticing that he hasn't been breaking tackles as much over the second half, roughly, of this season as he usually does). When Hunt's available to spell him it's not as noticeable, but it's there.

I won't believe that Stefanski would intentionally set Mayfield up to fail, much less the whole team. Unless the whole team was "in on it" he would lose all credibility with the players if he did such a thing. Even if they don't like Baker, they wouldn't appreciate putting their health and careers on the line in an intentionally losing cause to make some point to a guy they don't even like anyway.
