Here are a list of what I think would be fair trades if the Cavs, dare to dream, were able to package Hughes and Pavlovic together:

1. A decent point guard
2. Money and a future 1st round draft pick
3. New uniforms
4. New shoes for Lebron

discuss. :)

Uh.. None.

No one in their right mind would accept Hughes' contract, and the way Sasha and Hughes are both playing, its a surprise they actually get minutes on this team. Hell, I'm surprised Sasha is still starting, let alone us getting a decent point guard for him. Guess you can dream though...

Skittles and a Ritz Carlton $9.00 mini-bar Kit-Kat for me...

However, Larry has to be virtually impossible to move... Sasha can't get moved until basically the deadline due to the time he signed his deal I believe... He'll either play his way back to respectability, continue to regress where nobody wants him, or vacillate between the two..

If Ed Stefanski is a masochist he'd give us Miller and filler (Amundson).

Hughes, Pavs, Mike Brown, and Ferry for Bryan Colangelo and a 2nd round pick

At this point a case of natti light would be to much for Larry Hughes...

For Hughes and a 2nd round pick, I'll give you half of my PB&J sandwhich and my snack pack (vanilla).

What we don't want to do is package Larry with a first round pick.

Due Diligence relatred to Heath's rumored trade for T-Mac. While we could trade hughes and Drew for t-mac on paper (salaries match) that is about the only thing that does match about that trade. T-mac is hurt. He is ball centric, and he does not fit the needs of the team (PG/PF).

A better houston trade might be James, Battier and Scola for hughes/drew.

A lot of people have wondered openly about Larry's market value and it is limited by the rumours. However I think some teams would seriously consider a trade, because they have no better options and need to make a change. Houston is in that catgory, as is New York, and Chicago. I wonder if Memphis might not also be in that state sooner than later.

Personally I like the New York scenario's better because they have some of the players we might be able to actually use. For example Hughes Drew for Robinson, Lee and Starbucks might actually make sense. Before everybody takes a crap on me, look at last years defensive numbers and you can see they know how to play defense, they just arent playing this year. If Starbucks doesn't want a ring, let him sit where Larry is, and just play Robinson and Lee. Those two alone will be better than hughes and Gooden are right now. At least Robinson knows how to throw a punch, which is something the cavs team needs to know how to do..

Trade for dwade, I hear he's on the decline :chuckles:

If someone would even think about taking hughes it would probably be the New York Knicks because they are terrible and take any one with a big contract.....:chuckles:
