A's it is :chuckles: I either hate the other AL Teams and the NL can't win shat..

If wanting Derek Jeter to win his 5th ring is wrong, I don't wanna be right..

Tigers.

I think they're almost exactly like last year's ChiSox. Come out of nowhere to get baseball's best record, get a scare from their own division last in the season, kind of have a weak ending to the regular season, and then just run roughshod on the league in the playoffs. Don't forget, DET has the staff close to the one CHI had last year. Plus they have a hardass manager who knows how to get the best out of his players.

Once DET can win the AL, they'll kill whoever comes out of the JV...I mean, NL.

CA. Detroit leads a 5 game record over Minnesota. They are falling off.. Minny will catch them...

Here is the overall best records in baseball..

Mets- 86-52
Tigers- 85-55
Yankees- 83-55
Athletics- 80-59
Twins- 80-58
White Sox- 80-59

All but 1 is from the American League

^^^Looks like the Tigers have been caught. Twins and Tigers tied for first going into the final weekend. But Detroit hosts KC while the Twins host the White Sox.

Loser of MIN/DET gets the Yankees in the first round. If I'm NY, I'm praying that MIN wins that division. I'd much rather face DET right now than MIN.

^^^^^^Somebody knows what the hell he's talking about.:D

I'm still betting on the Dodgers as a dark horse here.

Tigers.. They just seem unbeatable now...

Detroit but how can the Tribe not be an option. Baseball is a sport where a team can have a different W/L record of 25+ games year by year.

glad i voted for the tigers back when this topic started. even though im not a big fan of the city of detroit, they are one of the orginal teams in baseball and have a great history. plus they destroyed the yankees, whats not to like?
