When was human existence at its peak?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Great question!

lets try both.

As far as the world as a whole, I feel like I lack the knowledge to have a truly informed opinion. I'd lean toward more modern times simply because of the eradication of some diseases, better education, and more liberty in general compared to some prior periods. I suppose the Chinese are better off than they were in the past, and that's a quarter of the world's population. But still...incomplete knowledge.

I think the country as a whole likely peaked 20-30 years ago. Social media has become corrosive and turned much of public society into 14 year old girls.

I also believe critical values necessary for long-term prosperity have declined.

Human progress is such a dynamic and interesting thing really. A peak is not something you can define since the progress is constantly taking place, but there is also regression in certain thing. Take example, technology aspect of human civilization is progressing while ability of younger ones to maintain focus for a long time and such are regressing, etc etc
