I think there are good odds that that the answer to these questions will be different for most posters.

I am most excited about Mobley and to just see what he brings. His game was not polished in summer league, but the vision and instincts were there. Can't wait until we see him with some real NBA players especially our PGs. Okoro was 2nd here for me.

I think Rubio is going to make the most difference. I really think he had a great olympics and is ready to work some magic. Veteran playmaking is really important and we even saw how Delly just keeping guys organized made a real difference even as his athleticism failed. I think Rubio is going to provide some major stability with the 2nd unit that will give the team a chance to win more games.

I am very excited for Brodric Thomas. As soon he won't be on the Cavs.

As for winning, I think one of Garland or Okoro makes a big leap. Sexton is going to change some games but season wide impact is less. Mobley will probably be a minus as a rook with a lot of flashes. If we jettison Love or Lauri, that improves our team by subtraction. I have a good feeling with lamar stevens. Otherwise none of the others will have a major impact one way or the other...even Cedi

most excited to see with regular minutes is Mobley for sure, but I think he will have boom/bust showings night in and night out. (I predict he leads NBA rookies in fouls per game).

I think Okoro has the biggest impact on winning games a'la Larry Nance's old role of doing everything well on the floor and with some added scoring (14-16 PPG up from 9.6 per game)

I think the highest ceiling is for Mobley.
Garland after that.

But what the hell do I know, I liked Billy Preston.

He is still only 23...

I think I am most excited for Okoro. If he breaks out, it really elevates the ceiling of this core and solves a lot of issues.

Most impact on winning...I think Rubio is a good pick, even if it might not be all from his on-the-floor contributions.

Least excited...probably Mobley because I don't think he's going to be very good his rookie season.

Okoro.

Dude has been working like crazy this off-season and before Nance was traded, he said in a podcast that he thinks Okoro is going to have a big year based on what he was seeing in work-outs, etc. Dat second year jump.

Plus, Okoro developing a jump-shot would change the ceiling for this team in a huge way.

I also think Okoro is really going to start to throw down. I'm expected a poster a game.

This just fucked me up more than almost anything I've ever read in my life. I laughed at first, like yeah right... But I wondered how old he really is now and what's become of him. So I Googled him for myself and saw that he truly is only 23.

How? How??

The Billy Preston aka next LeBron era feels like eons ago.

People are excited about Okoro?

Feel like that dude has really high disappointment potential. He won’t “bust” in a traditional sense. But I think he’s highly likely to have a classic 12/4/3 on 44/33/78 type season where you just barely notice him a lot of nights and he has a couple 25 point games mixed in. And his defense is really good so everyone that’s riding with him hangs their hat on that and everyone else is just completely bored by his presence.

He had a higher scoring game as a rookie than KPJ, Garland, or Sexton even though everyone would agree his offensive game was the rawest of all 4.

Against NBA Finalist Suns while being guarded by Mikal Bridges, darling of this very board.

With 6 assists

Was averaging 16 3.7 and 2 to end the season. Had a string of 15+ games in a row.

Hope he proves me wrong. I heard he reads this board.

Okoro, I think takes the biggest jump, but Garland gets better and Sexton gets better. I also think Stevens could still surprise.

I think expectations for Mobley are so high right now, i dont see how he meets them. I think he is three years away from really showing out. But I would be very happy to be proven wrong.
