I'd say it's the definitive Irish Whisky. The only place to go above Redbreast, when you're staying down the middle of home plate, is to cask strength or longer age statements.Have yet to find an Irish whiskey as good as Redbreast. Lots of quality options, but Redbreast is the best.
I feel like I can call Green Spot a better whiskey--but it strays away from those central Irish notes. It's more complex, and I love exploring it. But those floral, fruity notes aren't something I expect from an Irish.
