Nance is a ridiculously good passer. Head on a swivel. That tip pass for the assist at 2:05 was nasty. But not sure what else he should be expected to do on the wing. Finishing is ehh outside dunks, handle is ehh. Hope that 3 pointer is legit. He’s really physical so maybe he can smother some opposing wingsI remember how he defended Robinson during the Miami game. Robinson was shooting lights out in the first half but Nance put a clamp on him in the 2nd. He also punished him offensively by posting him up time and time again. Cavs won that game.
Nance has definitely improved as a Cav. Better shooter, better mobility than he was a Laker. He can be a SF for short periods of time especially when Bickerstaff deploys his uber big lineup against small ball.
Let’s be real, people....we DO NOT have a legit SF on this roster! The ones we have are either limited offensively or defensively. We do not have ONE complete SF....which will have to be our target either in trade, FA or next year’s draft.

I think people throw around the word “superstar” too much. Patrick Beverly,Zach LaVine, Kyle Kuzma, Trevor Ariza, Khris Meddleton, De’Aaron Fox, and Avery Bradley are all complete players but they are not considered superstars! How many "complete sfs" are there in the league? We can do that at every position. Complete players are superstars most of the time.

I know some of these guys aren’t SFs I was commenting on the complete players are superstars! You’re telling me Patrick Beverly and Avery Bradley are not complete players? Both can shoot (and from three land) plus play excellent D. So can Fox! If you don’t think so you need to watch them more closely. Any one of them would be instant starters in ClevelandI wouldn't characterize a singe one of those as a complete player and only 2 are small forwards. There just aren't many "do-it-all" guys because those guys usually aren't elite enough in one area to make the NBA. Good thing it is a team game.
Middleton is the only one I would rather have at the 3 than what we have. I would have liked Ariza once upon a time.
Part of my criticism is the nebulous nature of what a "complete player" is. There are so few all around guys at the 3 that can really do all the things a SF "should", that those guys are basically all star players. Hayward just got 30M for lan's sake.

Amen! I think we know what Cedi is, but the jury is out on Okoro & Windler, whom offer different skill sets. I see Nance as our stretch-4, who can play the 3 or 5 occasionally. How many "complete sfs" are there in the league? We can do that at every position. Complete players are superstars most of the time.
