I was watching OSU playing Michigan today, and man is anyone less clutch than this guy. I was really hoping that Buford would declare for the draft last year after he basically single handedly lost the Kentucky game. The guy is so soft mentally and I really just can't stand him.

He plays like a bitch in every big game. Can't wait for him to leave. Million dollar talent, 10 cent brain.

Matta needs to make a change & quick

Doubt he does though :(

Matta is fat and retarded.
Buford is dumb and over-the-hill.

How are you over the hill as a college player? I mean, I can understand not liking the guy or thinking he's a bad player, but it's not too likely that a 20 something kid is over the hill.

He and every other player on the court for OSU would be better off allowed to play in a free-flowing oofense. But instead they play in a half-court set offense that never creates any wide open looks and these guys are in sets all night long.

Remember, corey is 14 years old. He has no concept of age yet.

he also said ramon sessions is over the hill

Willy is a frontrunner, when everything is clicking and there isnt much pressure on him to perfrom he plays well like he did in the Duke and Florida game

His performance against MSU, Wisconsin and UM have been awful. His shot selection is horrible, he should NOT be making those mistakes as a senior.

Gotta give him some credit though, we dont beat Purdue without him

Sully 35 minutes
Buford 40 minutes
Thomas 40 minutes
Craft 36 minutes

Matta still doesn't get it..

It would have taken a monumental screw up for that team not to go deep in the tourney, and that almost happened against Xavier.

The point is, this happens every year. Matta has his usual short rotations, and come tourney time someone important has a bad game, gets in foul trouble, injured etc.. and no one on the bench is ready to play.

This team desperately needs someone who can shoot, and that guy could probably be LaQuinton Ross but he's stapled on the bench with no chance of cracking the rotation this late in the season.

Single elimination is a fluke system. Of course something will come up most years that prevents them from winning it all. That's the nature of single elimination tournaments. Or did you think UConn, VCU, Butler, and Kentucky were the four best teams in the NCAA last year?

It can be a fluke one or two years. But Matta continously gets bounced earlier than expected in the tournament. His approach doesn't work yet he never changes it. He is a very sub par in game coach.

He's had two consecutive Sweet 16 appearances and was the runner up for the tourney 5 years ago... What exactly are you expecting? Ohio State isn't a basketball college, we don't (usually) get the type of recruits that Duke and Kentucky regularly bring in. All that being said, Matta makes the Buckeyes extremely relevant in the tourney. I get the feeling he has a better idea of how to coach his team and run his rotations than you do.
