Lindor 7.6 WAR
Kluber 5.6 WAR

for

Pedro Baez RP
Bellinger OF 3.6 WAR
Seager SS. 5.9 WAR in 2017 should be healthy in 2019
Verdugo OF. 32nd rated prospect in ML-ready for ML ready now
Ruiz CA 39th rated prospect in ML--ready next year

That is a lot from the Dodgers but they are getting a franchise player in Lindor who will put people in the stands in LA and a 1/2 starter. Their bullpen is loaded so they wont miss Baez. They can sign Harper to take Bellingers place.

Cleveland gets a starting CF, starting RF, starting SS, a very good set up man, and a starting catcher in a year. Bellinger will have to mover from CF sooner then later but can play multiple positions. Seager can be resigned cheaper then Lindor and Indians will still have a all star level SS.

Seager ain’t resigning either, and Lindor is the better player.

That said, if the window closes in 2022 anyway, I’ll probably do the deal.

Seager + Bellinger + the prospects and getting bullpen help would be a really solid return.

Lindor is the definition of untradeable for this franchise though. Enjoy it until 2022.

Lindor is a much better player. Seager is gonna to have to move positions eventually. I would agree Seager wont sign but his brother resigned in Seattle and we would have a better chance. I don't know how much of a chance but better.

If Cleveland wants to continue this run Lindor has to be moved now for maximum return. He is not staying and we can't afford him now after he turned down the earlier contracts.

I know the Cleveland fans would go crazy trading Lindor but our window is closing quickly and its not like they are showing up at the ballpark. Our bullpen and outfield might be the worst in baseball. We have enough starting pitching to extend this window. Lindor would be an incredible get for the big spending franchises. Not only own of the best players but he can sell tickets.

Indians could get a kings ransom for this kid right now and keep this window open. We have enough SP that can make a run at the WS but not with this BP and outfield. Just my 2 cents.

Your window still closes in 22 if you do this deal. The team would just be somewhat more complete.

I like the idea but I do believe the Dodgers would have to sign Harper first for there to be any chance of it happening
