You're the new mod of the Classifieds section.

This would be exactly the type of thing I'd have in mind. I don't want access to any kind of of secret mod chat room or mod privileges outside of having carte blanche within that sub-forum.

I want this...

Poof wish granted.

Doesn't look like there is enough support to add to our coverage. We'll think about adding sub-forums under the Browns forum in the near future.

I'd just keep things as is. I would want the Cavs to always be the top priority. This is the best and sometimes only place to come to for intelligent Cavs discussions and Cavs news. Browns coverage is already overdone in this area.

I'll still be here no matter what.

I dunno. 85% of voters preferred expanded coverage.

It can be argued that this is the best place to come for Browns & Tribe discussions and news as well.

And def. the most educational/entertaining OTEAYOR section.

62% of voters preferred expanded coverage, 35% didn't.

Perhaps more important is the total number of voters (only around 65 out of 9500 registered RCF users preferred expanded coverage, or around 0.006% of the registered user base).

As Ben mentioned, there could be some enhancements on the way such as subforums.

With all do respect, maybe an impromptu survey over a few days in one of the least trafficked areas of the site isn't the best way to engage a lot of voters.

Remember, I said with all do respect. ;)

In the end, it's the Front Office guys' decision, as it is more work for them.

There were links posted in both the main CavsTalk forum and the main Browns forum that pointed to this thread.

I actually don't have a strong opinion either way, just want to point out that the poll wasn't obscure or hidden.

And, as above, there could be some enhancements, and no decision made now is fixed forever.

And that still netted this thread only ~1,500 views. This thread was up for 3 days, and that's enough time to form an educated opinion on expansion or not? It's almost like the powers that be wanted this poll to show unfavorable results, so they shut it down after 3 days.

I kind of feel the same way no strong opinion on expanding Brown's or Indian's coverage. What Ben said he intends to do now based on the responses he has gotten sounds good to me. Smaller expansion is usually safer anyways. I always worry that you can draw arrivals that may well dilute the quality posts we usually see around here. Or, simply, the site loses it's identity.

That question about expanding to include all NBA teams would get a very big "do not want" from me if the question was actually asked in a different way that allowed us to specify things you would dislike. As I see the focus of this site should always be Cleveland teams first and foremost, followed by other Ohio based teams. Anything else should simply be something of some general interest. Like, will those bum Lakers actually make the playoffs so they can do that pick exchange they owe us. Or, a particular player or trade. Threads which eventually fade with time. Threads that already fall into a general NBA sub category. I sure as hell wouldn't want to draw hundreds of LA fans that would inundate us with their love of the Lakers. I am already suffering enough having to pull for them. Come on end of the season. You cannot come soon enough.

I feel like expansion is always a good thing, why limit yourself. This is already established as the most appealing Cavs forum, why not extend to other sports and make it one of the ultimate sites to go to for Cleveland sports.

This is like inception. Time to break out my tin foil hat.
