Honest question.... if at some point, an NFL player jumps into the stands and his helmet makes contact with a fan and knocks he/she unconscious....what are the repercussions?

Also...is something like this assault? ESPN and every other news station found this hilarious

Honestly torn on the Hill thing. He clearly had the intent to taunt and cause trouble, the fan has a right to protect his space.

This one isn’t nearly as cut and dry as Sunday, IMO.

With regards to your other scenario, I’d have to understand the intent on the part of the player. The team would likely be liable for injury, I’d guess.

I am like, literally, not upset at all.

I’m talking about this particular instance, and you’ve seemed to want to drag in a bunch of “well what if...” nonsensical scenarios.

In this particular case, the facts are obvious.

The player who scored did.
Yes, players went in to a crowd of people who didn't want them there. After they started piling on and the fifth player jumped into the crowd to continue gloating the fan reacted with less than two ounces of beer in the face.

If your definition of respect is to allow a boot stomping on your face forever, please continue, because I'm also talking about a specific instance.

These are facts that, you cannot, like, argue at all.

Yeah, they weren’t interacting or taunting that fan at all.

But knowing that you’re pretending they were explains quite a bit.

Which world do you live in? Doing a 'Lambeau Leap' in an opposing stadium is by definition taunting.

Just wanted to post the browns banned the wrong fan.

Per mod instructions keep it civil

The bolded represents the expectation when I told Bob we can try again on this topic.

Good lesson, be more decent at games. Players are not animals, don't treat them as such. Not sure why we can't all agree on that, but I guess that's just what society is at this point.

B00bie hates the Browns since they took Mayfield, give it a rest all.

Only half joking.

You are, like, literally, making up reasons to be upset. It's hilarious.

All of this is what we got instead.

That's it, locking it up until cooler heads prevail.
