WTF Flashseats..you can't bid on Cavs tickets anymore!!!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sorry that you will get stuck with lots of weekday tickets/tickets vs garbage teams if you don't go to them and want to sell them…..

I don't think I will. There is depend for tickets. Plus. The few I sold I got maybe 10-15% off face, I don't need to sell as many to make the same money now.

Lets see if you're singing the same tune during a snowstorm, on a weekday vs a terrible team and if one or more of the Big 3 are out…..

Bidding on Flashseats is officially back on for all games.

With the official greedy catch that you can't bid below 50% of the ticket face value…..

From my understanding per the Q assist twitter is that you can't bid less than 50% of listed value. So you have guys listing tickets for $50 in the same row/section listing at $150. Sounds like some will increase the price on their tickets to get over face. I just pay slightly over face for Saturday's but I feel I got a good deal, tickets are loaded with $10 each. If you factor in the cash it brings them below face by $3.

The jury is still out on flashseats for me. But I am glad that tickets haven't hit the secondary market. Hopefully it does keep cost down for fans.

You seem to think you are entitled to the absolute cheapest possible tickets and that season ticket holders should be thrilled for you to give them $5 for their seats.

Your argument doesn't make any sense. I mean, unless you live out of town and have to specifically schedule your games, or you are a pure broker, then why would a midweek game with the big three out be a problem?

I have a half season package, and I usually sell about half, give or take. I pick 3 or 4 that I absolutely wanna go to, and then I just sell what I can and go to the rest. If I'm hoping to sell a Wednesday game against the sixers and nobody wants to buy them, then I'll just go to the sixers game and sell a different one. All Cavs games are awesome as far as I'm concerned.

So yeah, I'd rather have a couple games that won't sell and be guaranteed at least half my money back on others rather than all of them sell, but at $10 apiece.

I am not……and they shouldn't be thrilled…BUT they should also not be thrilled to get NOTHING since bidders can't offer what they want without a limit...

I think you're missing the point. Season ticket holders don't want low ball bids. That was a big reason for the change. I'm not a season ticket holder. I like the idea of flashseats and I use it a lot. If I'm comfortable with the price I pay I don't mind that the holder made some money. Of all the tickets I've purchased I've been in the +/- $10 of face value. Pretty good in my book.

Since the change I've noticed a big difference in listing price. I bought tickets to Saturday's for $25 and another person in the same row and section had them listed for $90. My thought is that the person listing them for $90 is a new season ticket holder this year trying to make money. I know a few people with tickets and they're happy to sell enough games to go to a bunch for free.

So you know what every season ticket holders want….…yet you aren't one…….okay….

Whats it matter if they get a low ball bid…they don't have to accept it…thats their choice to wait out to accept a bid they can deal with or get screwed and eat the ticket…..

So if you're a season ticket holder and its a half hour/hour before the game and there are no bids on your tickets because they are priced to high and with all the crazy fees (you going to defend that next?)…you'd rather just eat the tickets then get $5, $10, $15, $20….

I dunno about you but if I am going to lose money I'd rather have some money recouped than ZERO

I would not because that devalues all of my other tickets. I'd rather a game go unsold (in which case I will go myself or give them to a friend) rather than make $5 and now all buyers assume they can get every game at $5.

I don't know how your weird laughter makes me wrong? Yeah u seem very very upset that you can't get $5 tickets anymore, and that's fine. But don't understand how you think that we as sellers should be on your side there?
